Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Downingtown, Pennsylvania

This rewarding position as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) offers a chance to provide critical leave coverage for an established staff BCBA on a collaborative campus. The school, serving surrounding communities, features a dedicated team with three other BCBAs and clinical coordinators working with students in a Level III Autism program.

You’ll work with approximately 67 students across 15 classrooms, all of whom have Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) in place. The role includes responsibilities such as observing and supporting students, coaching within the classroom environment, and liaising with the crisis response team. There is flexibility for up to 30 hours of work per week, making this a great fit for professionals seeking a manageable but meaningful schedule.

Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
• Current Pennsylvania licensure or ability to obtain
• Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with students diagnosed with autism (Level III)
• Strong data collection skills and familiarity with FBAs
• Effective collaboration and communication abilities
• Prior involvement in crisis response or behavioral intervention teams is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct classroom observations and behavioral coaching
• Collect and analyze data to guide intervention planning
• Work closely with clinical coordinators and the existing BCBA team
• Collaborate and consult with the crisis response team as needed
• Support classroom staff in best practices for behavioral interventions
