A part-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is needed for the 2026-2027 school year on a contract basis, working approximately 20-25 hours per week. Your expertise will help drive positive change by developing and overseeing behavior intervention plans and offering guidance to district support staff.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Demonstrated experience working with children or adolescents in school environments
- Ability to implement, monitor, and modify individualized behavior intervention plans
- Experience supervising and mentoring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) or behavior aides preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based behavioral strategies
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and assess individualized behavior intervention plans for students
- Provide ongoing supervision and coaching for school-based behavior aides and RBTs
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and data collection
- Consult with educators, support staff, and families to maximize student success
- Deliver staff training on behavioral strategies and best practices
- Maintain comprehensive progress documentation and clinical notes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
