Qualifications and Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
- Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans (BIPs).
- Passion for fostering constructive change and advocating for students’ needs.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently as well as in teams.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify student needs and recommend evidence-based interventions.
- Craft and customize behavior support plans in collaboration with teachers, therapists, and families.
- Provide training and ongoing consultation to school staff on behavioral strategies and best practices.
- Monitor progress, collect data, and adjust interventions as necessary to maximize effectiveness.
- Support compliance with all IDEA, IEP, and state/federal guidelines related to behavioral supports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and provide professional input for student support teams.
