Embark on an exciting contract opportunity for the 2026-27 school year as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), making a lasting impact in a supportive educational setting near Elgin, IL. Two full-time positions are available:
Position 1: Work with high school and transition-aged students, involving direct support for those needing assistive technology and the highest level of behavioral or developmental care. The ideal candidate will have significant experience implementing assistive tech solutions and working with multifaceted student needs in an educational context. Typical hours are 7:30 am–3:00 pm.
Position 2: Full-time opening for Fall 2026, supporting students across varying needs and collaborating with a dynamic team.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
- Experience within school settings is highly preferred
- Demonstrated background supporting high school or transition-aged students
- Proven skills using assistive technology for students with complex developmental needs
- Strong communication and collaboration strengths for consultation and training
- Commitment to evidence-based practices and student progress documentation
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Assess student needs and design strategies to promote academic, social, and behavioral growth
- Collaborate with staff and families on interventions and progress
- Provide training and support to school faculty and parents
- Utilize assistive technology to maximize student engagement and independence
- Maintain accurate and timely records for compliance and positive student outcomes
