Ideal Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification and Illinois licensure (or the ability to obtain)
- Strong background providing behavioral assessments, developing and monitoring behavior intervention plans
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to coach, train, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (teachers, aides, families)
- Initiative, adaptability, and a passion for supporting student success
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and analyze student data to identify needs
- Design, implement, and oversee evidence-based Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Provide ongoing supervision, training, and support to school staff and paraprofessionals on behavioral strategies
- Partner with Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams, contributing expertise in behavioral goals and progress monitoring
- Deliver direct support and coaching to students as needed, ensuring best practices are followed
- Maintain documentation, adhering to district, state, and ethical guidelines
