Desired Background:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification active and in good standing
- Direct experience in school or pediatric settings preferred
- Solid knowledge of ABA principles, data collection methods, and individualized program development
- Strong communication skills to partner with staff, students, and families
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet the diverse needs of each child
- Experience with functional behavior assessments and developing behavior intervention plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze results to guide intervention
- Design and implement individualized behavior intervention plans
- Consult directly with teachers, paraprofessionals, and administrators to support student progress
- Provide training to staff on ABA methodologies and positive behavioral supports
- Track, review, and adjust strategies based on ongoing progress monitoring
- Collect and maintain accurate data to measure outcomes and adjust plans
- Offer guidance and support to families regarding behavior strategies and generalization
- Maintain compliance with ethical and legal standards in practice
