Key Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification required
- Previous experience working in school or pediatric settings highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and behavior intervention planning
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to conduct FBAs and write effective behavior intervention plans
- Comfortable working with diverse student populations and educators
- Flexibility to adapt to varying caseload needs and school environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough functional behavior assessments (FBAs)
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Train and support school staff on evidence-based behavioral strategies
- Collect data and document student progress toward behavioral goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote positive student outcomes
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to interdisciplinary student support teams
- Provide crisis intervention and guidance as needed
