This contract opportunity offers the chance to provide expert behavioral support and guidance while working collaboratively within a dedicated multidisciplinary team.
This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) adapts to meet the needs of students, with caseloads based on district demand. As a valued behavior specialist, your expertise will help create positive learning environments and shape personalized interventions for a diverse student population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify students’ unique needs
- Develop and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Provide consultation, training, and coaching to teachers, paraprofessionals, and school staff
- Monitor student progress, perform data analysis, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with IEP teams and participate in meetings to advocate for students’ success
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Current license to practice as required
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with students, families, and education professionals
- Proven ability to work independently while remaining a flexible, team-oriented contributor
