Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
- Experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Skilled in developing and implementing individualized behavioral intervention plans
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
- Effective communicator with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Exceptional organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic school environment and manage a varied caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct behavioral assessments for students referred by educational staff
- Develop, monitor, and update individualized behavioral intervention plans that contribute to student success
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to implement interventions and training
- Provide hands-on coaching and ongoing support to school staff regarding behavioral strategies and best practices
- Collect and analyze behavioral data, adjusting plans as needed to ensure effectiveness
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Maintain all documentation in accordance with school and regulatory requirements
