This full-time position focuses on working in a one-on-one setting with 1st grade students who benefit from tailored behavioral and academic support. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Certified Special Education Teacher, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • Prior success supporting elementary-aged children, especially in one-on-one settings
  • Understanding of behavioral needs, with experience in Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD strongly preferred
  • Ability to create and maintain individualized plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to fostering a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement specialized instruction aligning with IEP goals
  • Provide one-on-one behavioral and academic support to 1st grade students
  • Monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
  • Work closely with administration and related service providers for comprehensive support
  • Use evidence-based practices to address behavioral goals
  • Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to team meetings as needed
