Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certified Special Education Teacher, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Prior success supporting elementary-aged children, especially in one-on-one settings
- Understanding of behavioral needs, with experience in Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD strongly preferred
- Ability to create and maintain individualized plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills
- Commitment to fostering a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement specialized instruction aligning with IEP goals
- Provide one-on-one behavioral and academic support to 1st grade students
- Monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
- Work closely with administration and related service providers for comprehensive support
- Use evidence-based practices to address behavioral goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to team meetings as needed
