This full-time, contract-to-hire opportunity places you in a one-on-one setting, working closely with young learners who have behavioral needs, including Autism and ADHD. Ideal qualifications and experience include:
- Active credentials as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to implement behavior intervention plans and collect data effectively
- Strong background in working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or ADHD is highly valued
- Exceptional communication skills, both with students and multidisciplinary teams
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability when supporting students with varying behavioral needs
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, one-on-one behavioral interventions to first grade students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to promote student success
- Track behavioral progress, maintain accurate records, and report findings to appropriate team members
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment for each child
- Attend trainings and participate in professional development as needed to ensure best clinical practices
