Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold active BCBA certification
  • Previous experience working as a BCBA in an educational or clinical setting, preferably with school-aged children
  • Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and data-based decision-making
  • Solid communication skills for conducting team meetings, training staff, and interacting with families
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Passion for helping students with a variety of behavioral needs thrive academically and socially

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and analyze behavioral data
  • Design, implement, and monitor evidence-based intervention strategies for individual students and small groups
  • Provide consultation and training for teachers and support staff on behavior management techniques
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including school psychologists, counselors, and teachers, to develop and revise individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Engage families in the intervention process and communicate students’ progress regularly
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, reports, and progress notes
