Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold active BCBA certification
- Previous experience working as a BCBA in an educational or clinical setting, preferably with school-aged children
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles and data-based decision-making
- Solid communication skills for conducting team meetings, training staff, and interacting with families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans
- Passion for helping students with a variety of behavioral needs thrive academically and socially
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and analyze behavioral data
- Design, implement, and monitor evidence-based intervention strategies for individual students and small groups
- Provide consultation and training for teachers and support staff on behavior management techniques
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including school psychologists, counselors, and teachers, to develop and revise individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Engage families in the intervention process and communicate students’ progress regularly
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, reports, and progress notes
