Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Fairport, NY

Responsibilities:

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and create individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Provide direct support and coaching to staff and paraprofessionals in behavior strategies
• Use evidence-based interventions to reduce challenging behaviors and increase positive student outcomes
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and related service providers for comprehensive support
• Collect and analyze data to monitor progress and adjust plans as necessary
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student programming
• Ensure ethical standards and compliance with relevant regulations

Qualifications:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required)
• Experience working in school settings and/or with students in intense special needs programs strongly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and monitor behavior plans
• Strong collaboration, communication, and training skills
• Flexibility, compassion, and resilience when supporting students with behavioral needs
