Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification
- Experience working in school settings highly preferred
- In-depth understanding of behavioral assessment and intervention strategies
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
- Commitment to ethical standards and student confidentiality
Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families on student progress and behavioral strategies
- Provide direct and consultative behavioral services to students as outlined in IEPs or 504 plans
- Train and coach school staff on the implementation of behavioral interventions and data collection
- Monitor student outcomes and make data-driven adjustments to intervention plans
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and regulatory requirements related to school-based ABA services
