Step into an engaging full-time opportunity supporting elementary students (K-3) as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for the remainder of the current academic year and first semester of the next. This contract role provides a chance to make an immediate impact, collaborating with students and staff to cultivate positive learning environments.
You’ll work closely with a dedicated elementary caseload, including 24 inclusion students and 5 students in a sub-separate classroom, delivering evidence-based behavioral support and guidance tailored to individual student needs. The schedule spans 37.5 to 40 hours per week, with the assignment starting immediately and concluding on June 22nd. There is no extended school year or summer coverage required, allowing for a stable work-life balance.
Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Experience supporting K-3 students in public school settings strongly preferred
- Proven ability to implement functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop comprehensive behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Skilled in collaboration with classroom teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities Include:
- Conducting assessments and interprets behavioral data to inform interventions
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized behavior plans
- Serving as a resource and coach for instructional staff to enhance inclusive classroom practices
- Fostering strong partnerships with families and educational teams
- Monitoring student progress and documenting outcomes clearly
