Desired Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification
- Current state licensure as required for practice
- Experience working with students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
- Strong understanding of behavior intervention strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to develop and implement effective programs
- Excellent organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavioral assessments and develop targeted intervention plans
- Train and support school staff in behavior management techniques and best practices
- Monitor student progress, maintaining thorough documentation and making data-driven adjustments
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing critical input for behavior goals and accommodations
- Communicate regularly with parents and school personnel regarding student programs and progress
- Stay up to date with relevant regulations and evidence-based practices in the field
