This school-based, full-time contract position (37.5 hours per week) offers the opportunity to provide essential behavioral support for elementary, middle, and high school students. You will serve as a valuable resource for both students and staff by guiding evidence-based behavioral practices and promoting positive learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify students' unique behavioral needs
- Design and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) to foster positive change
- Offer consultation, coaching, and hands-on support to teachers, paraprofessionals, and school support teams
- Monitor student progress through ongoing data collection, analysis, and detailed documentation
- Collaborate closely with IEP teams, actively participating in meetings to ensure continuity of care
- Support staff development in behavioral strategies and effective interventions
Qualifications:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required)
- Valid state licensure appropriate for school services
- Experience working in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach
- Flexibility to adapt to caseloads and student populations that vary by district needs
