Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Fort Smith, Arkansas

Lead meaningful change for students as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) working on-site in an educational environment near Fort Smith, AR. This contract position spans the academic year from August through late May, supporting individualized and group behavior programs within a school setting. Hours per week will be determined within the parameters of the school year and project budget.

Your expertise will make an immediate difference in helping students achieve their full potential, collaborating with educational staff, and providing valuable behavioral insights. You’ll conduct functional behavior assessments, write and monitor behavior intervention plans, and partner with educators to enhance learning outcomes for students.

To thrive in this position, candidates must have:

• Current BCBA licensure
• Previous experience as a BCBA, preferably in a school setting
• Strong skills in behavioral assessments and interventions
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
• Clear communication skills and the ability to present recommendations effectively
• Adaptability and responsibility in a dynamic school environment

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing behavioral programs for students
• Training and supporting school staff in implementing intervention strategies
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting plans as needed
• Documenting services provided and maintaining appropriate records
• Participating in meetings with school staff and families, as appropriate
