A rewarding opportunity awaits an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) looking to make an immediate impact in a dynamic elementary school environment near Framingham, MA. This full-time, contract position serves both the remainder of the current academic year and extends through the first semester of the next school year, supporting a diverse caseload of students in an inclusive educational setting.
You will be responsible for providing expertise to 24 K-3 students in inclusion classrooms, as well as 5 students in a sub-separate classroom. Your leadership will guide classroom staff, collaborate with teachers, and drive the implementation of effective behavioral interventions to foster student growth and success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification required
- Demonstrated experience working with elementary students, particularly in K-3 public school settings
- Strong collaboration and consultation skills, with an ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledge of evidence-based behavioral interventions for both inclusion and sub-separate classrooms
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
- Coach and support teachers, paraprofessionals, and related staff in the implementation of behavioral strategies
- Maintain thorough documentation and data analysis to guide decision-making
- Act as a valuable resource to families in understanding and supporting student needs
- Effectively manage caseload of both inclusion and sub-separate students to ensure consistent progress
This opportunity offers full-time hours of 37.5 to 40 per week, with an immediate start through June 22, and carries over into the beginning of the next school year. No summer/ESY coverage is required, allowing for a well-deserved break.
