Qualifications and Desired Expertise:
- Current BCBA certification required
- Experience working in school settings or with school-aged children strongly preferred
- Familiarity with conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and creating effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Strong skills in collaboration, consultation, and staff training
- Excellent communication skills working with multidisciplinary teams, families, and school personnel
- Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize caseload efficiently
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify student needs and develop targeted behavioral interventions
- Implement data-driven strategies to improve student behavior and outcomes
- Provide guidance, modeling, and consultation to teachers, paraprofessionals, and district staff
- Train staff and families to ensure effective intervention implementation and generalization
- Monitor student progress and revise plans accordingly, maintaining accurate reports and compliance
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with special education teams to ensure student success
