An exciting contract opportunity is available for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work in a dynamic educational environment serving high school and post-secondary students. This role is set to begin as soon as possible and extend through June 3, 2027, offering meaningful experience in supporting students’ behavioral and academic growth.
You will be scheduled for 30 hours per week, with a daily schedule of either 8:30-4:00 or 8:15-3:45 (accommodating a 7-hour workday and 30-minute unpaid lunch). The position spans 2-3 sites, fostering collaboration with a variety of educators and students across grade levels 9-12 and post-secondary programs.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Previous experience in educational or pediatric behavioral settings preferred
- Strong skills in developing and implementing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Clear communication skills for collaboration with staff and families
- Commitment to ethical, student-centered practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform FBAs and develop BIPs for an average of 10-15 students per school year
- Provide direct and consultative behavioral support to students, educators, and support staff
- Deliver professional guidance and training to school personnel as needed
- Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate across 2-3 school sites to address a range of behavioral needs for high school and post-secondary students
- Flexibility to supervise RBTs in the future if the need arises
