In this role, you will support students by conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), developing and monitoring Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), performing insightful classroom and individual observations, and delivering skilled supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to help shape effective behavior support strategies and foster positive educational experiences.
What we’re looking for:
- Active BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) certification
- Experience with FBAs, BIPs, and school-based behavioral interventions
- Confidence in performing direct student observations and staff consultation
- Prior RBT supervision background strongly preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach
- Ability to work Monday through Friday for the full school day schedule
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough Functional Behavior Assessments for students referred for behavioral supports
- Design, implement, and monitor effective Behavior Intervention Plans
- Carry out regular classroom and individual observations to gather data and guide interventions
- Provide professional supervision and mentorship to RBTs to ensure fidelity of behavioral plans
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and other service providers for holistic student support
- Maintain timely documentation and participate in team meetings as needed
