Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Frisco, TX

Take your expertise in behavioral support and make a difference in an educational setting, working as a Behavior Intervention Specialist on a full-time contract basis. Your responsibilities will center on the development and implementation of Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), conducting Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs), and providing direct support to school teams. You’ll play a key role in important meetings, such as ARD, IEP, RtI, and 504, where your knowledge will have a meaningful impact on the academic and social success of students.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required, with a preference for candidates holding a Master’s degree
• Valid Texas teaching certification with Special Education endorsements
• Experience working in special education, social work, counseling, or a related field
• Background as a school counselor, LPC, BCBA, or in psychology/social work strongly preferred
• Skills in developing and supporting BIPs, conducting FBAs, and providing classroom and crisis intervention
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention strategies
• Conduct thorough FBAs and analyze data to inform interventions
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support positive classroom environments
• Participate actively in ARD, IEP, RtI, and 504 meetings, offering expertise on behavioral supports
• Provide crisis intervention and ongoing support to students and staff

This role is full time at 37.5 hours per week, with starting compensation from $30 per hour, commensurate with your experience.
