3rd Grade 12th Grade Board Certified Behavior Analyst in Gadsden, AL

Qualifications & Experience:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and current credentials
• Experience providing behavioral support and intervention in K-12 settings
• Familiarity with developing and implementing data-driven Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Comfortable working with diverse age groups, from 1st to 12th grade
• Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
• Ability to train and support teachers and paraprofessionals on best practices
• Commitment to ethical standards and ongoing professional development

Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze student needs across elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Design and oversee implementation of individualized behavior intervention strategies
• Provide direct support to students and coaching for staff to ensure effective interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education professionals and counselors
• Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust plans as needed for optimal outcomes
• Communicate regularly with school staff and families to address concerns and celebrate growth
• Participate in IEP meetings and support compliance with state and federal guidelines
