Qualifications & Experience:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification and current credentials
- Experience providing behavioral support and intervention in K-12 settings
- Familiarity with developing and implementing data-driven Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Comfortable working with diverse age groups, from 1st to 12th grade
- Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to train and support teachers and paraprofessionals on best practices
- Commitment to ethical standards and ongoing professional development
Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze student needs across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Design and oversee implementation of individualized behavior intervention strategies
- Provide direct support to students and coaching for staff to ensure effective interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education professionals and counselors
- Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust plans as needed for optimal outcomes
- Communicate regularly with school staff and families to address concerns and celebrate growth
- Participate in IEP meetings and support compliance with state and federal guidelines
