Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Gilroy, California

A dynamic opportunity awaits for an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) seeking contract work in a K-12 setting for the 2026-2027 school year. In this full-time position, you'll play a pivotal role supporting students, staff, and families across four school sites, ensuring high-quality behavioral services and effective intervention strategies throughout the district.

Your day will run from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, starting as soon as possible and extending through June 11, 2027. Your expertise will directly support student success, as well as the professional development of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) under your supervision.

Key Qualifications:

• Current BCBA certification (essential requirement)
• Previous experience working in school settings preferred
• Strong background in behavior analysis and data-driven interventions
• Competence in managing caseloads across multiple sites
• Excellent communication and collaborative skills
• Ability to supervise and mentor 1-2 RBTs effectively

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide behavioral assessments, program development, and ongoing data review
• Oversee, support, and mentor 1-2 RBTs, ensuring adherence to best practices and ethical standards
• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans in coordination with school staff and families
• Deliver training and guidance for educators and support staff to build capacity in evidence-based behavioral interventions
• Monitor the effectiveness of interventions and prepare documentation according to school and regulatory guidelines
• Travel between four school campuses as assigned
