You’ll become an integral part of a collaborative team focused on supporting the behavioral and mental health needs of one student aged 8 or 9. Your expertise will help shape and implement individualized strategies, working closely with educators and allied health professionals to create a positive and productive learning environment.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Experience in school settings is strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of behavioral assessments and intervention plans
- Excellent skills in communication and collaboration
- Ability to support children with significant behavioral needs
- Dedication to upholding ethical standards and best practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure consistency and maximum impact
- Provide training and guidance to school staff on best behavioral supports
- Maintain accurate records and document student progress
- Advocate for student needs in team meetings and provide regular updates
