Key Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
- Previous school-based experience preferred, though not required
- Solid knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques
- Ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and analyze data effectively
- Strong communication, consultation, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving student and district needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and monitor behavioral intervention plans for students with diverse needs
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and interpret assessment results
- Provide training, support, and consultation to teachers, staff, and families
- Collaborate with IEP teams to develop appropriate goals and strategies
- Collect and interpret data to inform behavioral and instructional decisions
- Maintain clear documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Promote positive behavioral supports and encourage inclusive educational practices
