A rewarding opportunity awaits for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to make a positive impact in an onsite, contract role working closely with students for the upcoming academic year. This position offers the chance to collaborate with educators and support staff, ensuring specialized behavioral services are delivered in a supportive educational environment.

Primary responsibilities include conducting functional behavior assessments, developing individualized intervention plans, and providing ongoing support and coaching to school staff. The caseload and weekly schedule are determined based on the candidate’s agreed compensation plan, allowing some flexibility in hours throughout the school year. Services will be delivered onsite, fostering direct engagement with both students and educational teams.

Qualifications:

  • Active BCBA certification
  • Valid state licensure to practice as a BCBA
  • Previous experience working with school-age children strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to write effective, practical behavior intervention plans and monitor progress
  • Commitment to upholding ethical practices in school-based settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavioral programs
  • Collaborate with educators and other multidisciplinary professionals to support student success
  • Deliver staff training and guidance on behavioral interventions
  • Write and maintain detailed records and progress reports
  • Participate in professional meetings, including case reviews and IEP meetings as necessary

This assignment begins in August and extends through the end of May, with a potential weekly schedule ranging anywhere from approximately 20 to 27 hours based on mutually agreed terms. An initial interview will be conducted via Zoom to discuss experience, schedules, and suitability for the role.
