Job Type Contract

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, making a significant impact within a therapeutic social emotional school program. This environment is dedicated to supporting students, grades K-8, as they transition back into the general education setting. The position spans the 2026-2027 school year, running from August 27, 2026, through June 10, 2027, and seeks someone ready to provide immediate support following a recent vacancy.

This role offers the chance to collaborate across two close-knit schools, working with a manageable caseload of about 40 students distributed in smaller classrooms (5-6 per room). You’ll become an essential member of a multidisciplinary team with strong supports in place—including social workers, special education teachers, and a robust group of behavior technicians.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
  • Experience working with K-8 student populations, preferably in therapeutic or special education settings
  • Strong skills in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA's) and developing effective behavior intervention plans
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and train behavior technicians (BTs/RBTs)
  • Collaborative spirit and effective communication skills with colleagues and families

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training sessions for behavior technicians, ensuring high-quality service delivery
  • Complete FBA’s and provide consultation to support student behavior and learning goals
  • Consult and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—no 1:1 direct student work required, as BTs handle those interventions
  • Contribute to ongoing planning and transition strategies for students returning to general education classrooms

Bring your clinical expertise and passion for student success to this dynamic and supportive environment. If you thrive in collaborative, purpose-driven school settings and want to help guide students back to the general education path, apply today to take the next step in your BCBA career!

Compensation for this position ranges from $43.50 to $63.50. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
