Qualifications & Experience Sought:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, active and in good standing
  • Background in developing and implementing effective behavior intervention plans in a school environment
  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and methodologies
  • Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and data analysis
  • Skilled at mentoring and training school staff, teachers, and support personnel
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a commitment to building trusting relationships
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving caseloads and student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students using evidence-based behavioral evaluation methods to identify individual needs
  • Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Provide ongoing consultation and training to teachers and support staff on behavioral strategies and best practices
  • Work closely with families to ensure consistency of behavioral approaches between school and home
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data, making data-driven recommendations for program modifications
  • Collaborate with IEP teams and participate in relevant meetings to advocate for student support and progress
