Qualifications & Experience Sought:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification, active and in good standing
- Background in developing and implementing effective behavior intervention plans in a school environment
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and methodologies
- Experience conducting functional behavior assessments and data analysis
- Skilled at mentoring and training school staff, teachers, and support personnel
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a commitment to building trusting relationships
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving caseloads and student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students using evidence-based behavioral evaluation methods to identify individual needs
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Provide ongoing consultation and training to teachers and support staff on behavioral strategies and best practices
- Work closely with families to ensure consistency of behavioral approaches between school and home
- Collect and analyze behavioral data, making data-driven recommendations for program modifications
- Collaborate with IEP teams and participate in relevant meetings to advocate for student support and progress
