Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active BCBA certification required
  • Experience developing and implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) in an educational setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
  • Comfortable conducting functional behavior assessments (FBA)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, working with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and families
  • Ability to collect and analyze behavioral data
  • Flexible, organized, and professional approach to supporting diverse student needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, monitor, and adjust behavior intervention plans for students, ensuring best practices and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments and summarize findings clearly
  • Consult with teachers, paraprofessionals, and staff to train and support the implementation of BIPs and ABA strategies
  • Collaborate and communicate regularly with families and service providers to foster consistency and teamwork
  • Use data-driven methods to monitor student progress and recommend adjustments as needed
  • Document interventions, outcomes, and meetings according to school procedures
  • Serve as a resource for school-wide positive behavioral support initiatives
