Make a meaningful impact in the lives of elementary students as you provide expert behavioral support within a dynamic educational environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced BCBA who thrives while collaborating with educators and guiding positive student behavior. Work closely with a small group of students in a specialized behavior program, Monday through Friday, during regular school hours (8:40 A.M. to 3:10 P.M.).

What you’ll bring:

  • Active BCBA certification with experience working in school settings
  • Strong understanding of behavioral intervention strategies and data collection
  • Demonstrated expertise in writing and revising Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Collaborative spirit to support, assist, and train paraprofessionals, counselors, and special education teachers
  • Calm, compassionate response to challenging behaviors such as elopement, work refusal, and aggression
  • Commitment to fostering student independence and inclusion

Role highlights:

  • Provide guidance in a self-contained, behavior-focused elementary classroom (grades 3-5)
  • Respond to classroom crises and provide in-the-moment behavioral interventions across the school day
  • Support a caseload of approximately ten students, helping to transition them to less restrictive environments as much as possible
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of educational professionals to deliver best-practice behavior supports
  • Help create a positive, supportive, and productive learning space
