Qualifications & Experience:
- Current BCBA certification, active and in good standing
- Previous experience working in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and methodologies
- Ability to develop and interpret functional behavior assessments and individualized behavior intervention plans
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, staff, and families
- Organizational skills for maintaining timely records and progress documentation
- Adaptable, solution-oriented mindset in dynamic educational environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments for assigned students
- Create, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans
- Provide consultation, modeling, and support to school staff and families
- Collect, analyze, and report behavioral data to guide interventions and track progress
- Deliver training and professional development to support staff in implementing effective behavior management strategies
- Attend IEP meetings to provide behavioral expertise and input
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and administrators to develop positive, inclusive school environments
