Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Hayward, California

Help support students and school staff as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in a dynamic educational environment near Hayward, CA. This full-time contract position offers 37.5 hours per week, giving you the opportunity to make a significant impact as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

In this pivotal role, you’ll draw on your expertise to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), develop and implement effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), perform student observations, and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) in a school setting. Your clinical, analytical, and interpersonal skills will be instrumental in fostering positive outcomes for students and enhancing the overall school environment.

What you bring:

• Current BCBA certification in good standing
• Experience working within a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Strong skills in conducting FBAs and creating BIPs
• Knowledge of data collection and behavior tracking methodologies
• Ability to supervise, mentor, and support RBTs effectively
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in dynamic school environments

Key responsibilities:

• Perform assessments and classroom observations to identify behavioral needs
• Design and implement individualized BIPs with measurable goals
• Collaborate regularly with school staff, teachers, and families
• Oversee RBTs, including providing training, support, and supervision
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and agency policies
• Track student progress and recommend modifications to interventions as needed
