Qualifications:

  • Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) required
  • Experience working within schools or educational programs preferred
  • Strong understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies
  • Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to develop, monitor, and adjust individualized behavior intervention plans
  • Commitment to upholding ethical guidelines and best practices in behavior analysis

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and gather relevant behavioral data
  • Create, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to promote positive behavioral outcomes
  • Provide training, consultation, and ongoing support to school staff
  • Monitor student progress, making adjustments to interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and maintain accurate, thorough documentation
  • Foster a supportive environment that encourages student growth and development
