Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active BCBA Certification required
  • Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred
  • Valid licensure for practice as applicable
  • Experience supporting elementary, middle, and high school age groups
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for consulting with staff and families
  • Ability to work flexibly within varying caseloads and adapt to specific district needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify student needs
  • Develop, implement, and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to individual students
  • Consult with teachers, paraprofessionals, and school teams to ensure effective implementation of interventions
  • Provide coaching, training, and guidance to school staff and families
  • Collect data, analyze student progress, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Collaborate actively with IEP teams and participate in meetings to support student programming
