Bring your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to an educational setting near Hockessin, DE. This contract opportunity, beginning around August 25, 2026, and extending through June 8, 2027, is designed for individuals who thrive in dynamic school environments. You’ll support 2-3 school sites, collaborating closely with staff and students throughout the academic year.
What We’re Looking For:
- Current and valid Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification for Delaware (please attach certification with your application)
- Previous experience in a school setting is ideal
- Strong ability to collaborate and communicate with teachers, administrators, and paraprofessionals
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage caseloads across multiple sites
- Capacity to conduct interviews and assessments for paraprofessional candidates at assigned schools
- Passion for creating positive behavioral change in educational settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide behavior analytic services and oversight for 2-3 assigned school locations
- Conduct interviews and help select paraprofessional staff for support roles within your caseload
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans for students
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure consistency in behavior management strategies
- Deliver staff training and support to foster best practices in behavior interventions
