Bring your expertise in Applied Behavior Analysis to make a meaningful impact in K-12 school settings across Northwestern Illinois! This flexible contract opportunity is ideal for credentialed BCBAs interested in full-time or part-time roles supporting students and staff with diverse needs. You’ll provide essential behavioral consultation and intervention services across various districts such as Algonquin, Carpentersville, Hampshire, Dixon, Hiawatha, Kaneland, and St. Charles, traveling as needed in an itinerant capacity.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Current national certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Active Illinois IDFPR Behavior Analyst license
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings preferred
  • Ability to travel between school sites within assigned regions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills tailored to diverse K-12 student populations
  • Flexible approach to scheduling and supporting multiple locations

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and develop data-driven Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, administrators, and families, to implement and monitor behavioral interventions
  • Provide training and consultation for school staff on best practices in behavior management and evidence-based supports
  • Maintain thorough documentation of cases in compliance with state and national standards
  • Adapt strategies to address the unique needs of each educational environment and student population
