Key Qualifications:
- Current BCBA certification
- Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
- Skilled in data collection, behavior assessment, and analysis
- Familiarity with multi-disciplinary collaboration
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and write individualized BIPs
- Provide direct and consultative behavior services to students and staff
- Train and support teachers, paraprofessionals, and families on behavior strategies
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data
- Collaborate with IEP teams, school psychologists, speech therapists, and other specialists
- Document services and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in professional development to stay current on best practices
