Key Qualifications:

  • Current BCBA certification
  • Experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Skilled in data collection, behavior assessment, and analysis
  • Familiarity with multi-disciplinary collaboration

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and write individualized BIPs
  • Provide direct and consultative behavior services to students and staff
  • Train and support teachers, paraprofessionals, and families on behavior strategies
  • Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data
  • Collaborate with IEP teams, school psychologists, speech therapists, and other specialists
  • Document services and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in professional development to stay current on best practices
