Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Jacksonville, Florida

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) supporting early learners in a dynamic educational setting near Jacksonville, FL. This full-time, on-site position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference for PreK programs across multiple schools during the academic year from August 2026 to May 2027.

You will collaborate closely with educators and staff, utilizing your expertise to foster positive behavioral outcomes and support student success. Instead of providing direct services, your role will focus on empowering teachers by sharing strategies, conducting observations, helping with data collection, modeling best practices, and developing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs). Your insights will be key in shaping instructional approaches for self-contained classrooms, positively impacting the lives of young learners.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active BCBA licensure in the state of Florida
• Prior experience in educational or school-based settings preferred
• Strong ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse teams
• Familiarity with Functional Behavior Assessments and behavioral data collection
• Comfortable supporting several schools (typically 5-7) in an itinerant capacity
• Experience working with PreK or early childhood populations a plus
• Up-to-date fingerprint clearance through the AHCA Clearinghouse or willingness to complete the process

Responsibilities:

• Support self-contained special education classrooms and their staff
• Offer guidance, recommendations, and resources to improve behavioral outcomes
• Conduct teacher consultations, observations, and provide on-the-job coaching
• Help collect, analyze, and model data-driven best practices
• Develop individualized FBAs and recommendations
