A full-time Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) opportunity is available in a K-12 school setting in Jersey City, NJ. This contract position involves providing onsite behavioral support to 2-3 classrooms during the school year. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM, totaling approximately 30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) to identify student needs and behaviors
- Develop and implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to student goals
- Train and support faculty members in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies to promote positive student outcomes
- Collaborate with educational teams to monitor progress and adjust interventions
Qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
- Experience working within K-12 educational environments
- Proven ability to conduct FBAs and create effective BIPs
- Strong skills in training and coaching school staff on ABA methods
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
