Work directly with students and educators as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) on a contract basis near vibrant Jersey City, NJ. Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Current and active BCBA certification required
  • Experience working in school settings or with children/adolescents with diverse behavioral needs
  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
  • Ability to conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience training and supporting school-based staff is highly valued
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct behavioral assessments and functional behavior analyses
  • Design and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
  • Monitor student progress and adjust strategies as needed
  • Provide ongoing support and training for teachers, aides, and other school personnel
  • Collect data and maintain detailed documentation on interventions and outcomes
  • Collaborate with IEP teams and participate in school meetings to support student success
  • Engage families in understanding and generalizing behavioral support plans
