Key Qualifications:

  • Valid BCBA certification
  • Experience working within school environments, especially with Early Childhood to Grade 8 populations
  • Expertise in functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plan development
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to provide staff training and parent consultation
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments to identify student needs across cooperative programming environments
  • Design, implement, and monitor effective behavior intervention plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, school personnel, and families to support student success
  • Deliver direct and indirect student interventions as appropriate
  • Provide staff training and support in the implementation of behavior supports
  • Collect and analyze data for decision-making and progress monitoring
  • Attend and contribute to relevant meetings, including IEPs
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school guidelines
