Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA certification is required.
- Demonstrated experience working with school-aged children in educational or clinical settings.
- Solid understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and data-driven intervention planning.
- Ability to conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and develop effective Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
- Strong communication skills for working closely with educators, families, and support staff.
- Adaptability and problem-solving mindset in fast-paced environments.
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess student needs through direct observation, data collection, and standardized assessment tools.
- Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention programs.
- Provide ongoing training and in-the-moment coaching to teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff on ABA strategies.
- Collaborate with Individualized Education Program (IEP) teams to support goal development and implementation.
- Regularly review student progress, making data-informed adjustments to interventions as needed.
- Communicate effectively with families to promote consistency between school and home environments.
