Qualifications:
- Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in school settings preferred
- Familiarity with developing, monitoring, and analyzing behavior intervention plans
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to assess student needs and effectively train school staff
- Comfortable adapting to new settings and following district protocols
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and create individualized behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers to support student behavioral goals
- Provide ongoing training, consultation, and support for classroom staff on ABA principles and behavior management
- Monitor and document student progress, making data-driven recommendations
- Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
- Serve as a resource for evidence-based behavioral strategies and interventions within the school community
