Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) | Lake Oswego, Oregon

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Special Education or Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
• Experience in school-based ASD support settings strongly preferred
• Proficiency in behavior assessment, development, and modification of support plans
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles
• Ability to adapt curriculum for students with ASD, including those with high-functioning autism and Asperger’s Syndrome
• Strong collaborative communication skills for working with teams, families, and service providers
• Comfortable delivering professional development and training to diverse audiences

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement instructional activities aligned with state standards and student IEPs/504 plans
• Evaluate students using a variety of assessment tools, clearly interpreting and sharing results
• Design, implement, and monitor individualized behavior support plans based on data collection
• Provide direct intervention and promote generalization of social/emotional skills throughout the school day
• Adapt general and special education curriculum for each learner, fostering independence and self-advocacy
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and participate actively in IEP and eligibility meetings
• Design and deliver professional development and training sessions for staff, parents, and community partners
• Establish and support positive, safe learning environments using evidence-based crisis intervention strategies
