What you’ll do:

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) for diverse student populations
  • Design and implement individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and school teams to offer consultation and practical coaching
  • Monitor progress, analyze behavior data, and maintain thorough documentation
  • Participate in IEP team meetings and contribute your insights to guide student support plans

Ideal background:

  • Active BCBA Certification (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)
  • Relevant license and certification to practice in an educational setting
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric environments preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Adaptable approach to managing caseloads that vary according to district needs
