Qualifications:

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) required; relevant school-based experience strongly preferred
  • Background working with students with ASD, including Asperger’s Syndrome and high-functioning autism
  • Expertise in applied behavior analysis, data collection, and intervention planning
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and district policies for special education

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver instructional activities and lessons aligned with student assessment goals for ages Kindergarten through 21
  • Travel between sites (itinerant position) to support the ASD program district-wide
  • Administer and interpret assessments to guide eligibility, instructional planning, and progress tracking
  • Develop and adapt behavior support plans, instructional interventions, and curriculum modifications
  • Participate actively in IEP teams, staff training, and parent communication
  • Support data-driven, research-based interventions for persistent challenging behaviors
  • Foster social skill instruction, independence, and advocacy among students
