Step into an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in elementary education as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) this fall. This contract role, based near Lake Zurich and Long Grove, IL, offers a unique chance to work with students in Kindergarten through 5th grade in a supportive, collaborative environment. You’ll serve as a behavior specialist, focusing on coaching and supporting building-wide initiatives without a direct student caseload—allowing you to use your expertise to impact the entire school community.

From September 23 to December 11, your weekdays will run from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, guaranteeing a balanced 7.5-hour workday that includes time for lunch. This position is perfectly suited for a compassionate, solution-oriented BCBA who thrives in dynamic settings and is passionate about guiding school teams to promote positive behavioral outcomes.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
  • Experience working within school settings, especially with K-5 populations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for coaching and mentorship
  • Adaptability and collaboration in teamwork-focused environments
  • Understanding of positive behavioral support strategies and interventions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a building-wide behavioral coach—supporting staff, teachers, and administration
  • Develop, model, and implement behavioral strategies to improve the school climate
  • Provide training and consultation for staff on best practices in behavior management
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create inclusive, effective solutions for students
  • Monitor program effectiveness and provide ongoing feedback and adjustments
