Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Lakewood, WA

Make a meaningful impact by supporting K-12 students for the 2026-2027 school year as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Located in a friendly, collaborative district near Lakewood, WA, this full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work directly with students and staff while helping drive positive educational outcomes.

This position serves a district-wide caseload, offering consultation and supervision for Behavior Support Assistants (BSAs). Focusing on in-person services, you’ll be an important presence on campuses, partnering with teachers and support staff to design, implement, and monitor effective behavioral interventions.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Active BCBA certification in Washington State, or willingness to secure licensure prior to start date
• Must comply with OSPI fingerprinting requirements, including completion before commencement if not already done
• Demonstrable experience working with K-12 populations, preferably in a school setting
• Prior experience supervising behavioral support staff is highly valued
• Strong interpersonal communication, consultation, and training skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee functional behavior assessments and support development of behavior intervention plans district-wide
• Supervise and mentor Behavior Support Assistants, providing guidance and feedback on best practices
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote successful student outcomes
• Commit to in-person service delivery for all students and staff; candidates interested in virtual roles cannot be considered
