Take on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students for the entire 2026-2027 school year as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Key Qualifications:
- Active BCBA Certification
- Washington State BCBA license, or willingness to obtain prior to start
- Ability to complete fingerprinting through OSPI, or willingness to do so
- Experience working with K-12 students or similar pediatric populations (strongly preferred)
- Previous supervision of staff (such as Behavior Support Assistants) is a plus
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to onsite work; virtual candidates are not eligible
Responsibilities:
- Deliver functional behavior assessments, behavior intervention planning, and direct support throughout the district’s K-12 settings
- Supervise and mentor Behavioral Support Assistants, guiding implementation of effective intervention strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to promote student growth and classroom success
- Monitor student progress and adjust plans as needed
- Remain current on best practices in applied behavior analysis within educational environments
This is a contract position running from September 9, 2026, through June 16, 2027, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Located onsite, you’ll engage directly with students and staff, helping shape positive behaviors and promote a supportive learning environment.
