Key Qualifications:

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification is required
  • Eligible for appropriate state licensure
  • Experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Excellent communication skills; comfortable consulting and coaching educators and staff
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to documentation and detail
  • Ability to work effectively as part of multi-disciplinary teams across varied age groups

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to inform support strategies
  • Design, implement, and monitor evidence-based Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) tailored to individual student needs
  • Provide ongoing consultation and behavioral coaching to teachers, paraprofessionals, and school teams
  • Analyze progress data to evaluate intervention effectiveness and make recommendations
  • Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to progress reports
  • Collaborate with IEP teams, participate in meetings, and help shape student support plans
  • Adjust caseloads and priorities based on district needs, ensuring high-quality and responsive service
